It's good to hear from Mrs. L.'s daughter that this is normal behavior. At the start of this process we were taking 1 step forward and 5 steps back. Now we're making good progress. We'll get there, and sooner than it appears at times.
I'll give Mom a call later this morning and see what's up. When I was there Saturday, she gave me one of the little pamphlets, The Memorare to Saint Joseph, that she has around the house. I'm going to ask her to pray for someone and tell her I'm using it. I wonder if we get her focused outward, instead of inward all the time, if it would help. Any ideas for opportunities like this?
