Due to travel restrictions getting in the way of meeting up (as opposed to regular life getting in the way), we have had regular Zoom meetings every Sunday evening at 7:00pm for almost two years. This meant that we actually spoke to each other more during COVID than before it. We all couldn't get together every week but we always had fun as long as we didn't discuss politics. Or religion. Or sex. Or overt alcoholism. Or human rights. Or gun control. Or freckle removal. The Zoom calls are certainly the only reason that family blog posts have dried up. That's my story anyway and I'm sticking to it.
