Melanie & I will be in the US from 19 May to 1 June. From 20-23 May we will be Carlisle jumping up and down with joy. On Saturday 29 May at 5:00pm we have tickets to watch Michael Franti with Alex and his friend which means we don't have a Saturday night free in Baltimore. Sorry if this messes things up but this guy is pretty good, no?

We'll be able to stay longer in November or December. There is a chance that we may break the rotation of Christmas / Thanksgiving and come back in November again because - get this - there is a big scuba convention in Las Vegas in November that the boat owner wants me to go to. Life is grand. Melanie is going to kill me for spilling the beans but she has good news too - finally. 25 June is her last day at ABN-AMRO. More than 37 years at one employer and still young and hot and raring to head off to Ladakh and other wilder corners of the world.

Shockingly, for the first time in 21 years, Melanie and I are scheduled to fly home in May through Europe instead of across the Pacific. Maybe it's my fault the thing blew. I finally used frequent flier miles for a ticket and had to go west instead of east. I sure hope that thing stops spewing soon.
