Sorry to mess up your schedule Michael... from Levelle
When I arrived to pick mom up for 8:15 mass (at 7:25 BTW) she was out walking. When she got home at 8:10, she informed me that she had already gone to mass. (how? I don't know) She was pissed off and even used the word crap twice! She feels like a prisoner in her home and would really like to know whose idea it was to take her car away from her. I tried to talk about the doctor's visit, eating, drinking, getting better, six week follow-up etc. She was having none of it. She can't imagine how a man behind a desk could make that decision, she wants to know who told him to say it. (biting tongue trying not to throw some other sibling under the bus ;-) ) So...I sat in silence for about an hour thinking she might cool off...nope. Oh well, good luck at lunch Quinn. Megan is taking over the dinner spot tonight in case it's just me she's pissed off at. :-{Keeping the faith - Levelle

Bet she thought it was a week day and, when no one showed up to drive, she walked to IC Church. Last 2 Saturdays she prepared for early Mass before being reminded that it was Saturday. She told me before that she would walk to that church.
Let her get mad. She has to go to AL. Our care isn't enough.
Bad thing is that she's not taking any responsibility for anything that's deficient - in her mind, it's our fault she has no driving and is a prisoner in the house.
Just talked to Quinn, who went for lunch. Mom's was staring at the thank you cards where she said she had been for hours. She looked hot and tired. Again, fir the thirtieth time, refuses for anyone to help with the cards. So far 2 have been mailed.
Until we get her settled somewhere, this is her life: extreme frustration for hours every day over thank you cards, lost glasses, microwave not working, etc.
