Hurricane Sandy

Safe and sound in Chalfont.  No power loss or tree loss.  How's it going elsewhere?

Power and trees intact on my property. Lots of non-major branches to clean up, and the driveway washed out, though we've seen worse. Matt was using rocks and bricks to build dams to try to divert some of the water, and it did help a little. We typically have to recover the gravel from across and down the street.

Strangely enough, we had an unusual storm this afternoon ourselves in Singapore. The rain was lashing down and the wind was howling. In the scary hour, we must have gotten a quarter inch of water and winds hit more than 15mph. I'm right there with y'all.

Per Facebook, Boo has been without electricity since 10:00 last night. I guess the lack of lights for the first 8 hours was not a problem. The lack of television, internet, etc may soon be an issue though.

East Baltimore still under blackout? I wonder if the schools and jobs are open.
