Before I heard the doctor say
There's danger in a kiss
I used to think that kissing you
Was the nearest thing to bliss
But now I know biology
And I sit and sigh and moan
Ten million mad bacteria -
I though we were alone?
I ran up the door
I locked the stairs
I said my shoes
and took off my prayers
I turned off the bed
And jumped into the light
And all because dear
You kissed me goodnight.
Just wanted to record it for posterity

Cute but Bill (Long?) was not original. Those were two old folk ditties or close paraphrasing of them. I believe that all Dad's works were creative and original. Who has his book that Mom published?
I'm not sure if I still have Mom's typed up publication of Dad's original writings. But I retype it all so that we would have it recorded electronically. My intention was to illustrate it, too, but that project is farther down on my priority list. I'll figure out how to to provide a link to it.
I love the new photos recently added. But I hope Danny didn't end up chewing on all that tinsel he was lounging near. That stuff was made of lead back then. I have a little of it I found in an antique store. It hangs so much better than the cellophane variety that is available now.
We could talk about everyone else, you know, because no one reads the blog anymore :)
That's because Megan & I are the only ones that get immediate notification of new posts and comments( http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5425021579839533235#emailandmobilesettings ) :D
I heard that, Lel. Even though it is now just a faint echo.
