He was "laid off" last week as his company is dissolving his business unit in preparation for a company buy out on January 1st. His unit was more of a support center as opposed to a sales maker and therefore dispensable. So much for 9 years with the "family organization"! We're looking at it as them giving him a head start on the job hunting since they are not even sure who's job is "safe" after the takeover. Soo....if you happen to know anyone in the MD/PA/VA/Carolinas area looking to hire a motivated sales professional...give them Jamie's name please.

Ouch. Why do companies do this right at the holiday season? He is a good salesman and a smart, industrious guy. It will work out ok.
PS. Aidan's shoes are coming by fedex. Don't let him get too excited when he sees the box with his name on it.
